Kristin Fogt Headshot_edited.avif

Kristin Fogt, MS, RDN, LD

Austin, TX

If you feel like you have lost touch with your body’s natural cues or need support making nutrition-related decisions, I am here to support you on your journey to finding food freedom and body trust. Let’s face it—nutrition information is everywhere, and it can be difficult to discern fact from fiction. We all come in different shapes and sizes and require individualized nutrition recommendations—something that the next fad diet or favorite social media account cannot provide. If you’re stuck in the diet mentality or recovering from an eating disorder, I am here to provide support and guidance. I am a licensed and registered dietitian in the state of Texas and participate in both in-person and telehealth sessions. I am a native Texan who graduated from the Integrated Coordinated Program in Dietetics (ICPD) at The University of Texas at Austin. As a part of the ICPD program, I completed my supervised practice hours, and obtained both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in nutritional sciences. I believe that nutrition care should not be “one size fits all”. Instead, I use intuitive eating and Health at Every Size (HAES) frameworks to provide individualized care for clients. I am especially passionate about helping adolescents and adults with eating disorders or disordered eating behaviors repair their relationships with food and their bodies and explore gentle, joyful movement through a non-diet, weight-inclusive approach. While I work with clients of all backgrounds, I am a follower of Christ and enjoy working with clients who share the same Christian values. As an avid rock climber, I enjoy spending my free time with friends at my local bouldering gym and climbing outdoors in the Austin area. I am passionate about helping other climbers improve their relationship with food and body as they work to reach new heights in their climbing abilities. I am also passionate about improving size acceptance in the sport. My hobbies include hiking the Greenbelt, doing 500-piece puzzles, and baking sourdough bread. Let’s work together!

Tracy Brown, RD

FL, AZ, CO, CA, IL, IN, VA, OH, WV, UT, TN, ID, MO, AL, TX, NY, PA,WI, NC, NE

Hi, I'm Tracy! I’m a somatic nutrition therapist, registered licensed dietitian and attuned eating coach in private practice providing in-person, phone and online counseling since 2006. I usher people on a soul level… Because I believe not wanting to be in the body is a way of protecting oneself, so the work is about nourishing the nervous system to feel safe enough to drop in to feel emotion to actually heal. Changing the food becomes an “of course eating is easier now” as flow becomes more a way of operating. I specialize in treatment of eating disorders and eating problems for both adults and children as well as issues related to over-extending the body, including adrenal fatigue, hormone issues, PCOS and gut health. I routinely teach intuitive eating workshops and disordered eating related talks throughout Florida, including University of Florida and Santa Fe College Gainesville, FL, Flager College, St. Augustine, FL, Florida Gulf Coast University, Ft Myers, FL. I am also the guest Nutrition Therapist for Feast, an online intuitive eating program and have appeared on many podcasts featuring topics on Intuitive Eating, Trauma healing, Positive body image and Recovery. I believe what healing food and weight concerns is really about is deciding to live fully human in the diverse and amazing bodies we have. Living and Feeling fully with courage and being dedicated to the fullest expression of who we are is the point.

Sophia Jones, RD

Telehealth for AR, TX, VA

Hey there! I've been a Registered Dietitian for 7 years and have worked in multiple settings including acute care, inpatient rehabilitative, and an outpatient eating disorders clinic. My passion for helping people heal their relationship with food and their bodies was born after a decade long personal battle with disordered eating and compulsive exercise patterns. Now that I am walking in freedom from the bondage of diet culture and fully embracing body acceptance (all while still chasing performance goals in endurance sports), it is my deepest joy to show others the path into a more satisfying and fulfilling health journey. In my personal life, I am married to a lumberjack entrepreneur and have two wild kiddos that forever keep me on my toes. I am obsessed with ultra trail running/hiking and daydream about living in the mountains someday. Currently tackling the Tour du Mont Blanc through France, Switzerland and Italy (and eating all the delicious food along the way) is at the top of my bucket list.

Austin, TX & Telehealth

I am a registered and licensed dietitian based in Austin, TX, near my alma mater. I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin as part of the Integrated Coordinated Program in Dietetics, earning both a BS and MS in Nutrition. During my supervised practice hours, I gained insight into various fields of dietetics and discovered that the foundation of our work begins with cultivating positive relationships with food and debunking the many nutrition misconceptions flooding our minds on social media. My genuine love for food began during my study abroad experience when I learned how fun all foods can be– especially when shared with others. These experiences inspired me to be creative in the kitchen at home and appreciate the various ways we can fuel our bodies across different life stages. This profound joy and creativity around food is the heartbeat of my work and my hope for others to experience. I integrate a HAESⓇ, non-diet, and all-foods-fit perspective in all of my work for sustainable outcomes that allow for lifelong joy around food! I welcome clients of all ages and backgrounds seeking to heal their relationship with food and movement. As a believer in the hope of the gospel, I am delighted to incorporate Christian values into sessions upon request. I believe fostering a positive relationship with food begins early on, which is why I am especially eager to work with mothers prior to conception, throughout pregnancy, and postpartum. When I am not in the office or the kitchen, you’ll find me spending time with friends and family, soaking up the sunshine, or moving my body through hiking or running. My excitement towards movement coupled with my love for food fuels my passion for helping others achieve a balanced approach to life that suits their individualized needs

Telehealth

My name is Erica Faulhaber and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS), Certified EMDR Therapist and EMDR Consultant-In-Training in Erie, Colorado — who helps women struggling with trying to be perfect all the time. I know firsthand what it is like to have unhealthy relationships with food, the scale, body image and self-esteem. Starting at a very early age, I began to not like myself and struggled with how others perceived me. Did they see what I saw? The critical voice inside me was louder than ever during high school and throughout college. During this time, it became second nature to engage in unhealthy behaviors. The harmful cycle of negative self-talk, not caring for my body and obsession over my weight started to spiral out of control. This was a very difficult time in my life. I noticed that no matter what weight I was, I was unhappy and unfulfilled. As I continued to learn more about myself, I recognized that I was a broken person who had some deeper wounds. After working through various traumas in my own life, both big and small, I realized that I wanted to help others do the same. New Directions Colorado offers both in-person and online counseling.

Amy, RD

FL, AZ, CO, CA, IL, MI, VA, OH, WV, UT, ID.

Amy has been an RD for over 20 years. She has been blessed with a variety of professional experiences such as Corporate Wellness Dietitian, Associate Professor, Research Consultant, Clinical Dietitian and is now humbled to be doing nutrition counseling. She also delights in being on the board of BodyBloved that provides opportunities to heal one’s relationship with body image, food, and fitness (https://www.bodybloved.com/). She believes that evidenced based science, health behavior theory and best practice make a boom for supporting behavior change. Through her own diet struggles, she now proclaims the good news about Health at Every Size and the non-diet approach. Having experienced an eating disorder at a noticeably young age and then dabbling in disordered eating for many years thereafter, freedom rang when she started practicing the truths behind the non-diet approach. Her own struggles have equipped her with compassion, empathy, and realistic recommendations for those she works with. Additionally, her past research focused on emotional eating and nutrition interventions using the non-diet approach. As she sits in the middle of mid-life, she has a heart that cries out to women who are experiencing symptoms related to perimenopause (and men too in this mid-life stage). Going through her own struggles with the side effects of perimenopause, she wants to scream out the message that YOU ARE NOT CRAZY. What you are going through is real. Her mother, having gone through her own issues, is a strong encourager of seeking out help beyond what appears to be the traditional. Amy believes that this support is vital to everyone and that life is much better when one realizes YOU ARE NOT ALONE. She believes in extra self-care in all seasons of life and especially this one. As she reflects on her life with disordered eating, she is grateful that she was healed of that and wants to help those that struggle. It is enough to go through drastic bodily changes in the second half of life nevertheless having to struggle with food, body image, and physical activity. Finally, she is the wife to an amazing, hot hubs and a mama to 3 amazing kids, one of which came home from China through adoption recently. Faith, family, and friends are the top blessings in her life. (Although on many days you can see her on the struggle bus attempting to do mid-life and multitask😉). Amy loves walking, waking to morning devos and coffee, and sitting by the water. Her hope for those with strongholds related to food, body image, and physical activity, is that they will be set free to live the life they were called to live!

Emma believes everyone deserves to feel at home in their body and have a healthy relationship with food. She follows a non-diet, Health at Every Size approach to her dietetics practice, and has experienced the power of a meaningful, positive relationship with the body through the principles of Intuitive Eating and her yoga practice. Emma received her bachelor's degree in nutrition from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities, and completed her year-long dietetic internship at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. Emma has experience treating both adult and teen clients with eating disorders at the Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and Outpatient level of care. Emma takes a client-centered approach to nutrition counseling, taking care to integrate her client’s own values, goals, and motivations while working with them. Emma also completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training in Rishikesh, India, and teaches classes as a Certified Yoga Teacher at her local studio. She understands how crucial embodiment and mind-body practices can be when exploring relationships to food and/or body. Outside of work you can find Emma enjoying the outdoors, attending live music events, searching for the perfect thrift find, finding any opportunity to dance, and struggling to keep her plants alive. Emma is an LGBTQ+ friendly care provider. Please see below to read Emma’s food philosophy: ~Everyone deserves to feel at home in their body, and at peace in their mind. ~Food and movement are as much about quality of life and enjoyment as they are about health. ~Food and movement are only two aspects of health. Rest, social connection, emotional wellness, environmental & financial safety and security, ability to cope with stress, and spiritual fulfillment are just as important to our health and well-being. ~Health and well-being are more complex than the number on the scale. ~Healthy behaviors, lifestyle, and relationship to food and body will always be more important than body shape or size. ~With healing, change, and growth, the process can sometimes be more important than the outcome. Progress is never linear. ~In this field there will always be more to learn and endless opportunities to grow. I am prepared to be a humble, life-long learner to provide my patients with the care they deserve.

Anna Marie Long, MS, RD, LD, CEDS-C

Austin, TX

Have you ever felt stuck or like food was just too complicated? You've heard all of the messaging around "eat this, not that" and you just feel lost. Maybe you're in recovery from a life-threatening eating disorder or have struggled with disordered eating habits. Let me be your guide to help you make peace with food again. I am a Registered Dietitian (RD) and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) with a passion for helping people improve their relationships with food and their bodies. I take a Health at Every Size® (HAES) approach to nutrition, which means that I do not believe weight is a valid indicator of health. I believe in making behavior goals, not weight goals. I use an intuitive eating model to help others improve their relationship with food. Both HAES and intuitive eating are evidence-based models. I work with individuals virtually and in-person. I am a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and I have a Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and a Master's Degree in Nutritional Sciences. I completed my dietetic internship through the University of Texas at Austin and am currently a Registered and Licensed Dietitian (LD) in Austin, Texas. I am an iaedp-approved consultant (CEDS-C, formerly CEDS-S), so I can supervise/consult with professionals seeking the CEDS credential. I also consult with professionals who are seeking to learn more about the prevention and treatment of eating disorders, but may not be seeking a CEDS credential. I regularly participate in consultation to further my knowledge and understanding in the treatment of eating disorders and associated conditions. I am a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) through the International Association for Eating Disorder Professionals. CEDS and CEDRD are the same credential for dietitians, as of 2021. As the membership chair of Central Texas Eating Disorder Specialists, I help members get involved and stay connected in the Austin-area eating disorder professional community. Personally, I am Christian and love working with Christian clients who want to integrate faith into their recovery. (Although I work with clients of any background). My faith is my most important value, and I've seen first hand how diet culture can make its way into the church and I want to help you untangle your relationship with food from your relationship with Jesus. I also consult with professionals (both Christian and non-Christian) to help others support our Christian clients in recovery. "So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God." 1 Corinthians 10:31 I started my career before I got married, so you may know me by my maiden name, Anna Marie Oglesbee.

tori crawford white.avif

Tori Crawford White, MS, RD, LD

Austin, TX & Telehealth

I received my Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Texas Tech University and completed my Dietetic Internship and Master’s degree there, as well. I am currently a registered and licensed dietitian happily practicing in Austin, TX. At a very young age, I discovered a love for what I like to call “all things food” (in other words cooking, baking, recipe development, and such). That love inspired me to seek out opportunities all over the world to learn about food and people, and the relationship between the two. I gained experience in different settings, including work in specialty cookware retail, community food banks, and several units in an inpatient hospital. Each of these helped me realize how strongly I believe in building meaningful working relationships with those I serve. I enjoy working with all ages, as well as with families and couples. I believe strongly that the conversation around nutrition is always two-way—there is value in what everyone has to say. My practice is anchored in a HAES® non-diet approach to food, one that focuses more on the food itself and less on labeling it “healthy” or “unhealthy.” Ultimately it’s a balanced approach to food that promotes lasting mental and physical health. As a Christian, I will gladly incorporate faith into sessions at the discretion of each client. It is my absolute joy to help others reclaim the freedom that everyone deserves around food. Before beginning to practice at the outpatient level of care in 2018, I had three and half years of experience in eating disorder treatment centers in the partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient levels of care, supporting clients and their families as they pursued recovery. This was invaluable in cultivating the skills to provide nutrition counseling, lead groups focused on everyday nutrition challenges, and collaborate with other health professionals to optimize care. I look forward to working together to rediscover the joy in all things food!
